List of SEO stop words
List of SEO stop words

why should you leave them out, What’s the point of a stop word?

Well, first off, a stop word is a word that the Google algorithm is going to skip over. In other words, it’s not going to consider that word. So if you are leaving a lot of words in there that are stop words and they’re not useful. You could be using that same space for wordsthat will actually get you more SVO.

Now, while that may be true, in some cases, there are some cases it does make a difference. Some examples of those words are and and of those types of words are the words that normally Google will just skip over. Now, here’s the scary thing. Statistics show that stop words are inside of most blog posts, titles and descriptions.

As a matter of fact, the statistics show that twenty five percent of all of those have stock words Annam. Now, from Google’s perspective, stop words are nothing more than fluff. And since they’re just fluff and they don’treally do any good. Google chooses to skip over.

Now, if you have too many of these Google stop words on your pages, your titles, your descriptions, this will actually slow down, load time and can cause you to lose some traffic. Google thinks that by eliminating the stopwords, they can actually get better results faster by just ignoring certain words.

Now, let me give you an example. If somebody runs a search and it’s like acarpenter in San Diego, what Google will do is ignore that a bill ignore in and they’ll just have Carpenter San Diego. So it’s almost better for you to put it up that way than the others are there to stop words in there.

Another example is what is the best Mexican restaurant in San Diego? And it’s going to just look at best Mexican restaurant, San Diego, and it’s going to drop off the way what is now. The other thing to look at is having or not having the stop words can kind of make that search term ambiguous to where it doesn’t quite make sense.

Now, an example of that may be what is meant by organic search. And then it would also rank for what is organic search. So the blogger there is kind of smart because they’re hitting both areas with one title. Now, in this case here, the stop terms areis meant by.

So that kind of helps with MCO of that particular page. Now, the next thing I will tell you is there are times when SVO does need to have stop words in it, and those are times when if you leave him out, it can change the actual meaning of the search term and make it to where it doesn’t seem like what the user’s looking for.

Now, in cases like that, Google’s algorithmis smart enough to understand that those search words can change meaning. Let’s take a look of an example here. Two different search terms. Matrix would be one and the Matrix would bethe other.

Now, the first one, which is just Matrix is actually a math term. And the second one, The Matrix, is actuall YA movie. So they actually pertain to. Two entirely different things, because they need that stop word to differentiate from the actual term matrix.

Now let’s get on to the more serious parthere. Stop words. According to the experts, even popular Yoast WordPress plugin for SEO will tell you to leave out all the stop words. They reason that it’s going to make that your.

much longer and it’s wasted. Space would all stop. Words hurt SEO. This isn’t really entirely true. Certain stock words will actually improve the user’s experience, and that’s really what the goal of a search engine is, is to improve user experience.

So, when they’re looking at stock words, they’re also considering that stop words are also needed for grammatically correct sentencesso that it makes sense to the user. In reality, SEO stop words don’t really hurt searchr rankings if you have them in there.

It’s just that if they are excessive, then offcourse you’re using up a lot of space. So what you want to do is when you’re doing your titles and you’re doing your descriptions, put the stop words in there, write the sentence the way you normally would, and then remove them and see if it changes the meaning.

If that doesn’t change the meaning, like the example I gave you with Matrix and The Matrix movie, then of course you want to get rid of it. OK. If it doesn’t change the meaning. But if they’re necessary. If they’re words in there that actually make that term makes sense. You certainly want to leave him in there. That’s necessary to do. Now, the one thing I’ll tell you is a lot of people are ignoring MCO nowadays.

They’re saying why run hads? And I do social media and I don’t need todo MCO when in fact you need to do it more nowadays than ever before. Because so many people have ignored SVO, somany people have ignored the titles, they’ve ignored the descriptions, they’ve ignored Tag’s. And we’re not really sure what these search engines are doing. We don’t really know what that algorithm is.

Rank your website through Off-Page SEO

I mean, we can guess at it, but we don’t know. You know, and I’ve heard for years, well, you know, you don’t need tags anymore because of the search engines. Look for it. But I don’t know that to be true. So I’m going to put my tags in there. And I know on YouTube tags are definitely necessary.

So if you’re not putting tags in YouTube, you’re gonna really miss out on a lot of traffic because that’s how they find your videos. But you should really be optimizing your title. You should really be optimizing your descriptionsand you should be using a good plugin. We use Yoast now.

Yoast is free. They also have a paid version and I can put a link below for yoast’s plugins and that’s for WordPress Web site. But you know, most Web sites like we have a Website on Magento and Magento has an area in there where you can go in and put in your titles,

Your descriptions, your tags. And Shopify is the same way. WordPress, you have to have a plug in, but whatever platform you’re on, they’re gonna have some place in there for you to add your title tags and you’re gonna have your description in there and all your other tags.

Please let me know if I have forgot to mention any Google SEO stop words.
